Minecraft

  • Sheep City: This starter course shows you the basics of the Code Editor, as well as some simple coding constructs such as methods and variables.
  • Blocky Races: You have the choice of four different tracks to race on. By the end of the course you will have been introduced to methods, timers, conditionals and for loops to make your own racing game.
  • Minecraft Builder's Tools: Use mathematical calculations, offsets and axes to create building shortcuts such as duplicating buildings, copying mobs or deleting large areas of blocks.
  • Dance to the Moosic: This course involves randomising events and adding a score system to detect the movement of players in a cow-themed dancing game.
  • Egg Wars: This course will allow you to expand your knowledge of adding rules to a PVP game, as well as learn more about structure generation and for loops.
  • Flappy Block: This course shows you how to create unlimited obstacle courses using methods, variables and for loops, so do your best to rack up the highest score possible without touching the lava!
  • Heist and Seek: Use loops, conditionals and timers to add players into different teams and add different rounds into a treasure hunt game.
  • High Noon Saloon: Learn Java basics such as methods, strings and booleans with this Wild West themed mod aimed at beginners.
  • The Haunted Mansion: Create three troll mods using more complex programming constructs including intervals and return types. Make a zombie track you, a leaky lava room and an infinite staircase in this spooky single player mod.
  • The Hungry Games: This course will show you how to develop a PVP server. You will use conditionals and loops to create gamephases so you can control the fate of your players in the arena.
  • Lucky Blocks: Use more complex programming constructs such as switch statements, for loops and arrays to create numerous random block effects.
  • Rise of the Werebunnies: This course uses loops and conditionals to split players into different teams with different characteristics, then gives players scores when they defeat an enemy.

How are your courses taught?
We teach Java and Lua through video tutorials alongside our web-based code editor. There are no live instructors or set class times.

Do I need to purchase anything else with Code Kingdoms?
You will need Minecraft Java edition to test the mods you code with Code Kingdoms. Roblox is free to download.
